Essay point view

It follows the typical essay format of introductory paragraph, body paragraphs and closing paragraph. A point of view essay can be about almost anything, as long as it is possible to have an opinion on it. Many editorials in newspapers, for example, are just versions of the persuasive essay.

Through an essay where you properly argue your point of view, you express your opinion on a given topic. You take a stance on a specific issue and support it with evidence and research. An essay where you argue your point of view should not be written as your arguments are the best, but in a way that can persuade the ones who will read it.

This “romantic” method is great when you want to look at your topic from different perspectives. You put the keywords of your topic in the center, and around them different spheres related to the theme. For example, let’s say you have to express your opinion about a universal language for all people. Your scheme will look like this:

You should convey the analysis of a narrative's point of view in one sentence. The thesis statement should relay your main argument about the writer’s use of point of view and what effect that has on some other aspect of the narrative.
